Liquid Lifting basically takes advantage of the nature of human skin. In concrete terms, this means that hyaluronic acid is used, the body’s own production of which decreases rapidly from the age of 25. The result is an ageing effect of the skin, as the body cells underneath the skin are no longer sufficiently supplied with water. In other words, hyaluronic acids bind moisture and thus provide elasticity. If this natural effect does not take place, fat pads follow gravity and sink downwards. Visually, in addition to the formation of wrinkles, an increasingly old and exhausted impression is conveyed.
What is Liquid Lifting?
In earlier years, wrinkles or loss of volume were compensated for with costly operations. Liquid Lifting, on the other hand, is an extremely gentle procedure that does not require any surgical facelift in the traditional sense. A special hyaluronic acid is used, the effect of which is immediate and visible.
How does the Liquid Lifting work?
The procedure is similar to injecting wrinkles. However, Liquid Lifting is characterised by the fact that it can also be performed with blunt cannulas, which means that there is virtually no pain. Naturally, this means that no anaesthesia with the associated risks is required, although the solution used often contains a mild anaesthetic. In the treatment, the focus is on the cheeks and the mouth area, which means that a rejuvenating effect also affects other parts of the face. In other words, the effect is “inherited” and the formation of new wrinkles is permanently delayed. There are no scars and due to the gentle treatment, the naturally existing contours of the face are fully preserved. The duration of each treatment is around 20 minutes.
Who is Liquid Lifting suitable for?
Liquid lifting in Berlin is particularly suitable if you are interested in gentle and natural procedures. Accordingly, it takes several sessions to build up the effect step by step. Afterwards, it is sufficient to have a refresher treatment, which is carried out at intervals of several months.
Are there also side effects?
In principle, there is hardly a gentler form of treatment than Liquid Lifting. Nevertheless, minor bruising or swelling may occur due to the injections, but these disappear after a few days. Only if you complain of an acute bacterial or viral infection of the skin or have been diagnosed with an allergy should you reconsider the treatment and consult a doctor. Liquid Lifting is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
