Back hair removal is the trend
Men today are more aware of their effect on women than in the past. Of course, a well-groomed guy doesn’t just mean regular visits to the hairdresser, a proper shave or skin care with peeling, creams and lotions. Styling the body hair is part of the whole programme and underlines the individual touch of one’s own male type.
Removing back hair – laser or IPL therapy?
Once you have decided to have your back hair permanently removed, the question arises as to the best and most effective procedure. Since hair growth in men is usually stronger and denser than in women, “man” must also use different methods of hair removal than women. Most men are also not friends of “excessive” body care. After all, there are more important things in life than spending hours in the bathroom. Therefore, there must also be a solution for hair removal that is uncomplicated and lasts permanently.
IPL against back hair
Fortunately, there is such a solution: the technology comes from medical technology and is based on a special laser process. Laser sounds like power and actually the term is somewhat misleading in this context. Because in contrast to conventional laser light, with a single wavelength and very strong energy concentration, with an IPL treatment you work with an individual section of the wave spectrum and get by with significantly less energy output.
IPL means intense pulsed light and describes the principle of this form of treatment. A concentrated flash of light is discharged at a short distance above the skin, thus flashing the back hair. The flash is converted into heat and transported from the dark hair to the hair root. The heat of approx. 60-70 °C is sufficient to obliterate the hair root and permanently prevent future hair growth at this point.
However, this transport of heat through the hair to its root only works when the hair is in its growth phase (anagen phase). Because only then are hair and hair root connected to each other. This also explains why permanent hair removal cannot be achieved with a single treatment appointment. However, after 6-8 treatments you will be rid of the hair on your back and have peace of mind for a long time.
